My family search started because I was interested in all the medical 
conditions within the family that our ancestors past down to us, particularly 
the Chinese ones.  I have spent many happy years and just as many frustrating 
years collecting the information on this site.  I must pay particular thanks 
to Michael Metcalfe in London (Fuller Family), John Wright in Sydney (Fong & 
MacPherson Families) and John Richards in Brisbane (Bell Family) who have 
contributed greatly to the compilation of some of the facts and documentation 
that I was missing. There are many other people who helped that are too 
numerous to list.  With the introduction of the internet it has helped all 
family researchers to contact each other and swap information in 
milliseconds.  Gone are the days of microphiche and film and hours spent 
pouring over them in the library.  Birth, death and marriage records are only 
a few 'clicks' away in the comfort of your own home.

I hope this site can help other people within these families to add to their 
family and get the same enjoyment as I do from looking into our history.
